Quick Getting Started Guide:

Once we have notified you that your account is live, follow these steps to get up and running quickly (you may or may not need to do all the items listed):

1. Access your Control Panel*.
2. Install FrontPage extensions if you will be using FrontPage.
3. Set up Email accounts and aliases.
4. Load your site using FrontPage's publish feature or FTP.
5. If your domain is not registered yet, register it now. We recommend DirectNIC.com.
6. If your domain name is already registered, but is still pointing or parked at another host/registrar, you'll need to change the DNS settings to point to our servers. This is done at the registrar where you initially reserved the name.

7. Changes in #6, above, take 24 to 48 hours to take effect. Until your domain name gets updated, use this address to access your website with FrontPage and / or view it with your browser: http://yourdomain.com.previewmysite.com

FTP INSTRUCTIONS

To upload your files with FTP you will require FTP software. You can download your own FTP client on the Internet. We suggest CuteFTP or WS_FTP LE.

Here is the information you will require to configure your FTP client/program:
Host Name / Address: megaftpservers.com
User Name: DOMAIN.COM
Password: PASSWORD

Double click the public directory to open it, and upload your files to this folder.

Your home page must be called one of the following: index.htm or index.html.

Any files that are to be viewed by the public should be placed in your "public" directory (or a subdirectory of "public"). If you place files in a directory other than "public," only you will have access to them.
